SLEEPING!

Marshy fell asleep in his high chair watching Dora the other morning.

PLAYTIME

We went to the park the other day. Marshy had so much fun and was so excited to show his daddy what a big boy he is.
He loves going down the big slide....even if it takes him a while to get started down it!

Sometimes he acted like he was afraid of the slide, even though he loves it. He's so silly!
He also likes to take his shoes off. He left them at the top of the slide this time.

It took me forever to get this picture! I kept missing the moment and just getting the top of his head. haha.
See that gray thing on the right side of the picture? It's a fake rock formation. Marshy can climb up it by himself, which is a good thing because that's the easiest way to get to the slides.
I had a hard time getting him to hold still long enough to get him to smile for a picture. I caught this one while he was looking over at Daddy.
He went down this tunnel slide for the first time. After that, he loved putting his shoes down it. Silly boy!
Putting his shoes back on.
We had so much fun, and he was so sad when we had to go home. He loves the park.

RESULTS

Several results to share here today.

First, the results to the DH poll. Most of you agreed with me in saying it meant Dear Husband. A few of you agreed with Mike in saying that it meant Dumb Husband. Some of you were just way off! haha Thanks for your help. I WIN! :)

Second, I went to the doctor today for my sore shoulder joint. I was worried that I had re-damaged my right rotator cuff, and newly damaged my left one. Luckily, this is not the case. The PA was pretty sure it is either an inflammation of the joint, tendinitis, or bursitis. She gave me an excercise handout and told me to take 800 mg of Ibuprofen 3 times a day with food. I guess people in my age group can have their bursitis pretty much cured by just taking it easy and taking the pills. Woo Woo! Hopefully this will solve the problem and I won't have to go to a) physical therapy or b) get corticosteroid shots (my mom's been on them for years, and they are pretty painful).

Third, my SIL Amber just found out she is having a girl! YAY! So exciting! The family needed more girls, I tell you what! There are only 5 granddaughters, and 1 great-granddaughter so far, so an additional granddaughter is great. (Comparison: 2 great-grandsons, 12 grandsons, with another great-grandson arriving in August-ish)

Help!!

Having an argument with Mike.

DH = ???

What do you think DH means?

I'll tell you what we thought tomorrow.

Buckling Down

Have you ever seen a really cute pattern that someone has done and said "I'd like to do that?"

Yeah. Me too.

Have you ever got all the stuff for the pattern, and then never done it?

Yeah. Me too.

Have you ever had your DH tell you that you have way too many projects going at one time?

Yeah. Me too.

I guess I need to buckle down and get some of them done.

I have 3 really cute BOM stitchery/applique projects (see my side bar for links) that I want to do.

I also still have to finish my Mystery Purse, pattern courtesy of Lola.

I still have to finish binding Marshy's "Froggin' Saur bankdie" which has the binding attached, but not stitched down, and has been in use for like the last 2 months, washed repeatedly, and is now fraying a bit.

I have a couple of quilts that I need to finish...mainly the Cars quilt for Marshy, with matching bedding, that I was going to have done in time for Christmas but still doesn't have the back seamed. Yeah.

I need motivation to get all this stuff done.

Any suggestions? Buying new fabric isn't one that will work at our house, because DH already knows how much fabric I have, and where it is (even if I hide it he can find it!)

So, yeah....really need some motivators or something to help me finish all these projects.

Apprentice - SPOILER ALERT!

Did you watch the Apprentice on Sunday night? I have to admit, I absolutely loved Athena's video! Jesse James was hilarious! As for Kotu's? Yeah...kind of embarassed to watch it, and quite offended, especially with the thought bubbles.

As a person within All's demographic, I was quite disappointed that they didn't pick the Jesse James video to win. Every time I watch it I find it funnier...except the end was a little unnecessary, but still funny.

As for the firings? TOTALLY SHOCKED! I couldn't believe he let Tionne and Khloe go! I'm kind of thinking that was a big mistake, and Clint should've gone and been the only one to go. Just my opinion though. That's probably why Trump has the billion dollars and I have not nearly close to that!

COOL

Saw 2 18-wheelers carrying these military-issue Hummers. There were 6 Hummers total. It was really cool to see them so close!
