CLOSED ?

Who closes a pool at 5 PM?

I'll tell you who:

That's who.

How do you fix a sad little boy who wanted to go swimming but can't because the pool is closed?

I'll show you:

Let him swim in the bathtub!

Isn't he sad? He slipped and fell on the bathroom floor after not being able to go swimming in the pool.

Kisses for mommy.

Back in the tub. Happy at last.

Sorta.

We're going swimming first thing tomorrow to make up for it.

Tuesday

Went to Jimmy's for breakfast. Mmmm yummy! Then we bought some shirts. 2 for me, 2 for Marsh. Mike wanted to buy a Hawaiian shirt, but they were like $100! YIKES!
Stopped at Build-a-Bear. It's tradition. Marshy picked the "dinosaur" - he can't say turtle for some weird reason. Or maybe he chooses not to! Yeah, that's it.

Blew out my flip flop....just like the song. Yes, I am serious. On the elevator flashing in the Coke store. Bought some new ones. They are comfy :) Also tried the Flavors from around the world. 16 different drinks for $7. Not too bad. Wanted to try it last time we were here, but Lola and I were pregnant, and not feeling so up to trying new things. TOTALLY WORTH IT. Lola - I'm dragging you down here to make up for not doing it last time we were here! haha :)

Went to M & M world. Marshy threw his sippy full of Sprite and it exploded everywhere. Yes, kind of funny....but not so much. Mike laughed. I was so embarassed! I think the lady who cleaned it up understood though.
Back at the hotel now. Marhsy is tired. Hopefully he'll take a nap. That would be nice.

Oh, yeah, and I umm...kinda didn't finish my class I've been working on for 6 months. Yeah, I know. I'm such a failure! I studied for 20 hours on Sunday and didn't even get close to finishing. Tried to study last night, but it just didn't go too well. Class was due today. Yeah, I'm so not done. Oh well, right? It was only $65.....and a bazillion hours of hard work!

Vay-Cay

GREETINGS FROM FABULOUS LAS VEGAS!!
It is a sunny, warm day. Probably around 70-80 degrees.
We had dinner at Cheesecake Factory.

We are staying across the street from the Carnegie deli. Yes. That deli. We will be buying a cheesecake tomorrow. :D

We will be going to many aquariums because Marshy LOVES fishies.

He kicked and screamed as we dragged him away from this one at Caesar's.

We even went to FAO Schwartz and bought a toy! I know!

Marshy was mesmerized by the giant horse. Of course, the camera missed the moment :(

LOVE these wooden puzzles. We bought 2. One with cars and one with fish. They have magnets, so it's a "fishing" game as well. So fun. Marshy loves them.

Internet at our hotel is $12 a day, so we won't be accessing the 'net until we get home :( I am going to go through withdrawls. I can tell already! haha
See you in a week :D

New Friend??

I have aroun 90 Clinic Notes to finish today in my Medical Transcription class. Yes, 90. I have to finish today because tomorrow I am going to VEGAS!!!
Hopefully this 5-hour energy stuff works. Some of these doctors can be extra boring with their extra-monotone voices and their mumbling. For some reason it just lulls me right to sleep mid-typing. Yes, mid-typing. I know. It honestly is a miracle the laptop hasn't crashed to the floor into tiny bits yet.
So, will this 5-hour energy be a new friend? We shall see.

Dear You

Dear you, yes, you the dog owner down the street somewhere,

It is midnight. Your dog has been barking for 2 hours straight. I know that you can hear him. Who can't hear him?

Just FYI, I called dispatch and filed a noise complaint. I hope they find your dog. I hope they make you make your dog shut up.

In the event that they don't find your dog, please make sure that you make your dog stop barking in the future. Seriously, 2 hours is ridiculous.

Sincerely,

Me.

Our New Pressie

We bought this with our state tax refund:

Isn't she pretty? She takes pretty pictures, too.

Mike took this one at about 8:30 PM of our neighbor's tree.

This one is of our Aerogarden herbs.

And a super up-close shot of one of the basil leaves.

Marshy, before bed, playing with toys.

Marshy looking up at mommy.

Blinded by the flash!

He looks a little goofy in this picture, but we still love him. haha

Mommy and Marshy showing daddy the dinosaurs on the jammies.

This picture was taken in a totally dark room. Look how good it turned out!

Same with this one. Totally dark room. Totally awesome picture. And totally cute boy.

It must be late....

It must be late because I am finding this show absolutely hilarious! Or maybe it's just because Patrick Warburton is awesome as Kronk (and the Tick).

Another Question:

Did anyone else find it odd that Quentin Tarantino was a pretty good musical coach this week on Idol?
Hmm...Whodda thunk it?

Just Wondering....

Did anyone else cry during Biggest Loser makeover week? Yeah, I know, I'm a "pansy."

New Tutorial

Go here and check out the new tutorial for the Draft Guard.

EASTER!

Look what the Easter Bunny left! WOW! He left a lot of fun stuff for Marshy!
He hid eggs in really easy places, cuz he knew Marsh wouldn't find them if they weren't obvious.
He thought it would be funny if he hid some in Marshy's shoes.

And on the steps.

Marshy slept through the Easter Bunny's visit. Sometimes he likes to sleep on his couch or the floor instead of his bed. We'll start him off in bed, but when we go to check on him before going to bed ourselves we'll find he's moved everything to the floor.

Marsh had loads of fun finding all of the eggs.
He was really excited to see all of the Dora and Diego games the Easter Bunny left.

A couple of the easter eggs popped open spilling m&ms everywhere. This disturbed him, and his OCD kicked in. Seriously, he has a little bit of OCD because he had to put everything back into the spilled eggs before he could get another egg.
See? Told ya so!
Putting easter eggs in his easter basket.
Again with the spilled candies.

More Easter eggs.

Marshy smiling for Mike, who was videotaping the whole thing.
Taking a candy break.
Finding the eggs in the high chair.
And getting the eggs off the piano.
And off the bookshelf.
He was funny when he got them off the stairs, because he counts every time he goes up or down them, "One, Six, Nine, Seven, Two" We're working on getting them in the right order now.
Another candy break. (Please disregard the unpacked box behind Marshy...it's all of my desk things, and I still don't have a desk. Really need to find one soon so I can unpack that stupid box!)
Finally! The Easter eggs are all found, and we get to play with the Easter Bunny presents! Mike, the good example he is, stuffed both of Marsh's water balls up his shirt. Marsh wanted to be "girly" again, so he tried to do it himself.
Still trying to get that ball up his shirt!
Later in the afternoon we went over to Grandma P's and had a hot dog roast and another Easter egg hunt (in the rain!). It was lots of fun, even if it was raining pretty hard!
